Working Principle and Heating Process
Grinding Rod Feeding and Heating: The grinding rods are automatically fed into the induction heating furnace via a conveyor system, where induction heating rapidly raises the surface temperature of the rods.
Quenching Treatment: After heating, the grinding rods are quickly cooled by a water spray device, forming a high-hardness hardened layer on the surface while the core retains relative toughness, improving overall mechanical properties.
Temperature Control and Monitoring: The temperature of each grinding rod is monitored in real time by an infrared thermometer, and the power and temperature during the induction heating process are precisely adjusted by a PLC control system.
Discharging and Cooling: After quenching, the grinding rods are further cooled by a cooling system and then conveyed to the subsequent processing or packaging area.
